Heat records, forest fires, thawing permafrost – while the climate crisis is worsening, billions are spent on the "recovery" of destructive  corporations. Whether it is the climate crisis or Covid-19, governments prefer to protect the capitalist system rather than creating a climate-friendly future and a public health system for everyone.

Therefore, Ende Gelände is calling for civil disobedience actions from 23 - 28 September 2020 in the lignite mining area in Rhineland. In
addition to coal infrastructure, actions will also be aimed at gas infrastructure this time. The call to action can be found here:

However, it's not only a time when action for climate justice is urgently needed, it's also Corona times. This is why this year things will be a little different. In this event we will explain our plans for September.
